Zinox launches new power solution, targets over 1m homes, SMEs

Zinox technologies has introduced a digital smart power solution, iPower Plus, which it described as cost effective and capable of managing power plans for average homes and Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs across the country.

The Power Solutions which range from 1KVA – 20KVA is targeted at millions of homes, offices and critical national, state and individual infrastructures dotting the country.

Zinox said it is targeting a minimum of 1,000,000 facilities in Nigeria in the next 10years by making them available through Technology Distributions and Resellers nationwide.

Unveiling the products, Engr. Lekan Faola, said the company has already installed the solutions in 1761 institutions nationwide including one of the largest and most stylish residential homes in Ikoyi even as it still continues to deploy more.

“Though we have deployed a lot but in the last 18 months we have worked strategically with leading Power Solutions Partners in Germany and Asia to perfect these products that provide enough power that run your homes, offices 24hours a day with comprehensive One year Warranty.

The iPowerplus is a compact solutions that powers a home independently, with its Solar panels or interfaces with Utility electricity and seamlessly resolves the common power interruptions in Nigeria.”

According to Faola, the days of oil boom are fast disappearing and Nigerians must start watching the cost of living. “Our power solution cuts the cost of energy consumption in homes and offices by at least 35% per month. With electricity in the hands of the private sector, it is speculated that Nigerians shall experience a minimum of 50% increase with their monthly bills from next year.

This will be a disaster for most homes and SMES. Our solutions put efficient and cost effective power in your hands with little or no challenges and there are no bills to pay just because we live in the tropics” he added.

In a related event, Former Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof Ibidapo Obe also flagged open the new 24hr Zinox integrated call centre and enhanced network operating centre that would complement service delivery for the company.

The facilities which have video, Voice and data equipments installed, were described as first of its kind in Africa where challenges could be physically resolved on video 24 hours a day even when customers are millions of miles away.

The Chairman of Zinox Group, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, noted that as the whole world was passing through exciting times and Nigeria’s economy recently rebased, to become the number One in Africa, the technology sector must increase in innovation. He stated that it was only the power of Technology that can define the people and create exciting lifestyle for the whole generation.
